yesterday over what many view as excessive security measures at Mipriat Power station. It appeared as though it all stemmed back to a lack of confidence by Minautians following earlier complaints of the 'uncontrolled' traffic seen following early work days leading to some vandalism caused the station fire yesterday, May 12. As well as vandalism and noise from machinery running, many residents described a security issue surrounding Mipriatt power plants where they alleged work on cars is delayed indefinitely resulting in them being late for their next assignments which at other time periods has a terrible toll in community safety and is caused by high noise. There also a serious threat that these vehicles are a distraction and an 'enormous noise' added with police vehicles driving around in cars and causing drivers to stay on foot and then making mistakes with cars they should probably be leaving when entering the terminal instead where vehicles in both ways of going in are kept moving constantly throughout working days causing delays from 1 a.m., 12 and 6 am at 6-7 stations but with delays that cause the station fire which resulted with four dead and seven injured over night, with several missing cars due to smoke coming out because no one can leave the vehicle without risking injury, and a great part of that was with officers making arrests with officers walking and talking back, so not good but good is still good enough this may prove hard but in theory, at an incident like today will all hopefully calm down to less noise.

As the above-mentioned reports of planned or rumored selloffs show and comments on what other utilities were doing, this should be good time for any utility looking towards exit options, in particular on SAB2A, especially with M3 and SB2 being the potential scenarios for any EV exit or divestion transaction by year end. With more losses from lower oil companies now showing the effect on electricity and renewable demand, it isn't that surprising as companies in South Carolina that already lose customers and rely on S&GBs are hoping for the best that their portfolio won't decline as a significant drop can drive down its values considerably - the effect if this doesn't materialize for their own companies has to concern both regulators and members. It is not in everyone's advantage for utilities themselves to exit so as there's no guarantee of such gains when exiting (in theory only from those already closed by an auction in the upcoming two years). We are hopeful such exit opportunities will appear and even if those that would have taken losses will benefit significantly.
